On January 10, 2020, The Kinsmen Club of The Pas announced a partnership with #newpark623 to raise money to build a new skate park in The Pas. We have pledged to raise $25000 for the skate park by 2021.

The existing skate park was built in 2003 and has fallen into disrepair, and members of the community have been pushing for a new skate park for several years now.  After partnering with The Pas Families Building a Better Community, they were able to pool their resources and build a long-awaited spray park that became operational in August 2019.  Now, they have identified a new skate park as the next project to focus on, and have reached out to various service organizations and applied for grants to raise the money necessary to build the park.  They are hopeful they can break ground by 2022.

The money we raise comes from people buying tickets to the various raffles we do throughout the year (400 Club, snowmobile raffle, BBQ raffle), as well as the fundraising events we hold (Ladies’ Night, Comedy Night), among others.  By supporting our projects, you can be a part of this worthwhile project which will provide barrier free recreation to our youth for generations to come!
